Playa de San Miguel

Playa de San Miguel de Abona actually comprises several smaller stretches of coastline and coves in the Golf del Sur–Amarilla Golf area, mainly with dark volcanic rocks. The coast is divided by harbors and rocky sections, making it more of a place for walking and relaxing than a classic, long bathing beach. There are several bars and restaurants in the area, with viewpoints. The water is generally clear, but entry is rocky in many places, so bathing shoes are recommended. The area is more suitable for quiet relaxation, sunbathing, and walks along the ocean.
